STRENGTH CAMP
(2x/week for 4 weeks)
This camp is an absolute necessity to assist you in learning how to take those movement patterns that you learned in Developing a Strong Base (DSB) so you can recruit more muscle fibres under a safe load. This camp teaches the proper techniques to an array of movement patterns. In the strength camp you advance your skills, improve your kinaesthetic awareness, increase your stability and learn to recruit the motor units required to safely increase the time under tension on your muscle fibres.
Do not let this camp scare you away. This is the second progression in Pure Elements progression periodization camps. This camp is safe for those with old injuries, chronic conditions or those who are just weak. We teach you the proper movements, coaching cues and lifting techniques prior to you handling any weights on your own. These camps are semi-individualized, as we have a variety of progression and regression exercises pending on your current physical condition. There are NO high impact exercises, bosu balls or bands. You will be learning how to exercise without machines in a safe, fun and STRONG way!
Remember not every exercise you do needs to be done with weight. Pure Element wants everybody to leave these camps feeling confident and strong. If we see any unsafe behaviour or techniques we will stop you from the exercise and assist you in the correct form and cues to succeed.
